Sup good lookin'!
I hope this finds you well, because if it doesn't that just sucks! Anyway I thought I'd write this to you because I've been dating an amazing man for about a month now (and if you aren't him that means you're absolutely fantastic) and I've learned so much from him that I wanted to share.
First off. I hope and pray that every day you are able to fight the temptations that plague you daily, trust me hun I know it's hard but I know you deserve to have a better esteem for your self and for those around you. Hun I know that living in this time where getting to that kind of stuff is really easy, but so is going to a chapel and praying or going for a run! Just know that I pray for you every time I think of you!
Second. Know that you are worthy of every love I pour on you. I don't care if you have a six pack or biceps the size of my face (that would actually be quite disturbing and I'd probably check you for steroids...)! I will love you for you. Everyone talks about how they photoshop women in magazines and how that effects how both women and men see women, but that also goes for men. Do you really think all those guys look like that 24/7? Cus I think that they go back stage after those shoots and just gorge them selves in pizza and beer. But anyway, the point still stands. I know I don't look like a model on a magazine, and I'm OK with that, so why should I expect you to look like one?
Third. I hope that you know that nice guys don't always finish last, because honestly they don't. I personally don't understand why anyone would want to have a "bad boy"... why would you want to get into a relationship that isn't healthy for either of you? What I've learned from both my past and current relationships and the relationships of those around me is that even if you don't believe in God, you should both want what's best for the other. Love isn't selfish, it's completely giving. You have to die to yourself all the time in real love, there is no such thing as just a taking relationship you have to give. That's what makes marriage SO beautiful! The fact that two people have decided that they will do what ever they humanly can to make the other person unbelievably happy (whether that be by making breakfast, or by saying that instead of a movie lets go to mass).
Yes I realize that love isn't all puppies and rainbows. You just have to look at a Hollywood magazine to see that. But see that's the difference. They go in because they "feel in love". I don't think you fall in love, I think fly. I would think that if you really love someone, it doesn't drag you down it makes you feel light because now you've found that one person who's supposed to help you get to heaven, and that's the most beautiful thing I could think of.
So, future husband! Know that I will always love you no matter what you've done in the past, it's what you do with your life now that matters. I'm praying for you and I ask that you pray for me.
All my love,
Your future wife
