My mom is going to kill me when she sees the sunburn I got on my neck and arms! She always says that i'm one step closer to skin cancer ever time I come home with a burn, hopefully it'll heal in time...
Now for the amazing travels! We had to spend 12 hours in a bus, full of sleeping or crazy people, to make it to Burgos, Spain. We did stop for lunch on the way so it wasn't a hideous ride ;
). When we finally arrived at our hotel (still in Burgos) we settled in, changed and went to mass. The mass was in one of the most beautiful Cathedrals i've EVER seen! It is filled with gothic architecture and wonderful detail in everything, but the pews were kinda a last thought (when it was built people stood the entire mass, except consecration then they kneeled).
After the beautiful church, which we get of tomorrow! We got a magnificent three course meal at our hotel, completely complementary (at least for us, maybe not for our parents who paid for the trip)
Then Miss. Poula announced that we could go out and enjoy the cities night life. I went with the 2 priests and everyone over 18 crowd. But Poula said that everyone in high school had to come back at 11:30, and couldn't drink ANY alcohol (no problem their). But on the bright side I was able to get on Facebook and let everyone know I was still alive :D. Also I got to teach my northern roommate how to line dance. She thought it was going to be complicated until I actually showed he how to Texas Two Step.
