Missions!

Sleep! We got to sleep all the way to 8:30! Then we went to mass in a church really close (across/down the street) , they had the station they're using for the way of the cross when the Pope gets here. Every candle on the platform represented one appearance of Mary (and their were a lot of candles)!. Then we took about seven trains (underground) to get to this huge building were volunteers are putting together backpacks that everyone in WYD gets, and guess what... we made 8,000 bags that day, in 7 hours! In between bag stuffing and mass we walked around Madrid, saw the old castle for the king and queen, AND we all got tickets to a soccer game here for 5 euros! (Espana vs Resto Del Mundo!)
When we got back we went to dinner at a restaurant near the stations (complementary!) And got free time to go shopping and check out Madrid. (when we were touring my group went Zazo and H&M, I got two skirts and a shirt) We went to some street vendors and a couple of stores, one which gave you a fake flower that smelled good and ice cream if you bought something!
Poula said we did such an amazing job today that they asked us to come back and do even more bags.
