First Day in Europe!

My first plane was plane was cancelled then rebooked (thankfully), then we had to REBOOK it so that it actually landed in JFK... (ugh) When I finally got through security for both the airports (Dallas stopped me had had to actually pat me down because of my knee brace). At JFK I met up with the people that I was originally going to fly to JFK with, Barb and her niece (who both LOVE orange). After about 4 hours and a new book later we found our group and boarded our plane to Madrid! Which took a very long time to get to get to, even with me sleeping through most of it (they played Thor on the TVs!) We arrived in Madrid at 4:00am (Dallas time :D ) then boarded onto another flight to Lisbon, had to rush to get my ticket before going through customs AGAIN! I feel incredible sorry for the two people sitting next to me because I'm sure I wasn't a very peaceful sleep going to Lisbon.
Once in Lisbon we got a tour from a Portuguese women, who was actually pretty funny; "what's the difference between a tourist and a hitch hicker? (one minute!). Then we drove to Fatima and had mass at the cite of a miracle. A laddie found out her husband was cheating on her and went to a Jewish witch who had her receive Communion and bring it to her the next day. That night with her husband the Eucharist started glowing, she told him all hat had happened and he felt so bad that they stayed up the rest of the night doing Eucharistic adoration.
